As Chief of Staff, Kaitlin serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing communications and board operations, driving key initiatives, and ensuring alignment across the organization as Coro California enters its next phase of growth.
Kaitlin brings extensive experience in the nonprofit and education sectors. She previously served as Chief of Staff at Bright Star Schools, a nine-school charter network in Los Angeles, where she led board governance, communications, strategy, and policy compliance. Before that, she held roles at Teach for America both nationally, as Director of Operations for Corps Member Onboarding, and regionally in South Louisiana, managing community partnerships and alumni engagement.
Kaitlin holds a Master’s in Public Policy Analysis from USC, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Broad Residency in Urban Education, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Art History and History from UC San Diego. She was an Education Pioneers Fellow in 2013-2014.
Outside of work, Kaitlin can be found hiking the Angeles National Forest, transforming her yard into a California native plant paradise, or doting on her two dogs.
