In his role leading alumni engagement and partnerships, Henry seeks to unleash the collaborative power of Coro’s statewide network — in service of a thriving democracy.
Henry has worked in civic involvement and education for nearly a decade: as a legislative aide in San Francisco City Hall, facilitator at Kearns & West, and middle school English teacher with Teach for America. The proudest moments of his career have come when he has brought together diverse interests in service of the greater good: launching Coro’s Alumni Council, engineering San Francisco’s first comprehensive contracting reform in decades, and helping mediate a solution to a century-long water dispute.
Henry is an alum of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is also a certified mediator and regular community volunteer. Outside of work, Henry loves exploring the incredible trails, both urban and remote, that California has to offer, most often with his fiancé, Estella.
