Vice President, Growth

Carson leads Coro’s statewide growth execution across program recruitment, enrollment strategy, alumni engagement, and business development for Coro X’s custom and contract leadership trainings. With a
cross-sector background spanning public policy, higher education, finance, and research, he brings a uniquely analytical and relationship-driven approach to growing Coro California’s reach and impact.

Before joining Coro, Carson served as Assistant Dean for Program Relations, Admissions, and Program Services at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, where he also taught as Adjunct Faculty specializing in California policy solutions. Earlier in his career, he was a Research Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and worked in public finance investment banking at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. in New York City, structuring municipal bond issuances for public agencies across the East Coast.

Carson holds a Master of Public Policy with Honors in Applied Economic Policy and American Politics and Policy from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University. He is an alumnus of the Coro Lead LA Fellowship. Outside of work, Carson lives in Santa Barbara County with his husband and is equally at home in a theatre or museum, plotting his next travel adventure, or savoring a slow brunch or beach day with close friends.
